The atmosphere (live piano music) and service (descriptive, helpful, attentive) stood out on our visit. The food was well prepared and creative, but several of the flavors just didn't quite mesh. Sometimes flavors cancelled each other out or overpowered one another, which was a shame because everything was beautifully cooked and prepared. Would recommend trying this place out regardless due to the pleasant atmosphere and cocktails.

CIA graduate and sous chef MADELINE GUZMAN is simply amazing, her quite and unassuming demeanor stands in stark contrast to her bold and bespoke dinning menu. Bartender EMMANUEL PRESSLEY is a creative genius behind the bar and clearly takes pride in his carefully curated cocktail selections. Treat yourself to a wonderfully elegant pedagogical experience at "The Study", and BOOK immediately.

We went for restaurant week and it was totally worth it! Everything we had was so good. The drinks were also amazing.
Definitely recommend the bread and butter app and the short rib lettuce wrap.
The steak entree and the catch of the day were so good. Some of the best steak I've had in old town!
Will definitely go back at some point.

Absolutelt an unforgettable experience… and they have live piano on Fridays and Saturdays?!?! Rodney was an exemplary server in very way, and Manny the bartender was as good as they come. It’s unbelievable that this sleepy alley of Alexandria’s Old Town can hold such a unique gem. Truly a timeless environment and one I look forward to frequenting again and again!

Wonderful little restaurant! Service was very friendly. Menu was creative and everything came out delicious. Also great hand crafted cocktails. We enjoyed the pickle trio, sour dough bread, short rib lettuce raps, and roasted chicken. There’s something for everyone here. Loved it!
